Who we are

Vehicle Value Analysis LLC ("Vehicle Value Analysis," "VVA," "we," "us," or "our") operates vehiclevalueanalysis.com and provides data-driven vehicle valuation and diminished-value reports based on comparable vehicle-sales data. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and order a report, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have — including how our text-message (SMS) program works.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to produce and deliver your report:

  • Contact information you provide when ordering a report — your name, email address, and (for some report tiers) your mobile phone number.
  • Vehicle and claim information — VIN, year/make/model, mileage, ZIP code, and, for Diminished Value reports, details about your loss (date of loss, loss type, repair cost) along with any photos and repair invoices you choose to upload.
  • Payment information — paid reports are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your card number is entered directly with Stripe and is never stored on our servers; we receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded and limited details such as the last four digits.
  • Account information — if you create or are issued an account to view your reports, we store your email and authentication credentials.
  • Usage and device information — like most websites, we automatically collect information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring source through cookies and analytics tools, to operate and improve the site.

How we use your information

  • To generate, deliver, and let you access the vehicle-valuation report you ordered.
  • To process your payment and send you receipts and order confirmations.
  • To communicate with you about your report — by email and, if you provided a mobile number, by text message — including report-status updates and reminders to complete the details we need to finish a paid report.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Text messaging (SMS) and your mobile data

If you provide your mobile phone number when ordering a report, you agree to receive transactional text messages from Vehicle Value Analysis about your report status — for example, a notice that your report is ready or a reminder to add the details we need to finish it. We send up to approximately 3 messages per report. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in and consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We use your number only to deliver the transactional report-status texts you requested, to contact you about your report and order, and to maintain your order record in our customer-relationship-management system (CRM). We may share information with service providers that process it solely on our behalf to operate the service (for example, our text-messaging provider and our CRM); they are contractually prohibited from using it for their own purposes. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the limited ways described below:

  • Service providers (sub-processors) who process data on our behalf so we can run the service — for example, our hosting and database providers (Vercel, Supabase), payment processor (Stripe), email-delivery provider (Resend), text-message provider (Twilio), and our customer-relationship-management system (HubSpot). They use your information only to perform services for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Your phone number is used only this way — to deliver your texts and maintain your order record — and is not shared with advertising networks.
  • Analytics and advertising-measurement partners — to understand how our site is used and to measure our own advertising, we use services such as Google Analytics and Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, Microsoft Clarity, and OpenAI. These partners receive website-activity information, such as the pages you view and advertising click identifiers, and may process it under their own privacy policies. For conversion measurement, Google may also receive your email address in hashed form. We do not share your phone number with these partners, and we do not sell your information.
  • At your direction — the report you order is your deliverable. If you choose to send it to, or share it with, your insurer, an attorney, or anyone else, that disclosure is made by you and at your request.
  • Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or VVA.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Your SMS opt-in and text-messaging consent data are excluded from all of the above and are not shared with any third parties.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies, and privacy-conscious analytics tools, to keep the site working, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site functions.

Data security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, and we limit access to it to those who need it to provide the service. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain your information for as long as needed to provide your reports, support your account, and meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

  • Text messages — reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance.
  • Email — transactional emails about your report are part of the service you ordered; you can contact us to update your preferences.
  • Access, correction, and deletion — you may request a copy of, a correction to, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational limits, by emailing us at the address below.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (such as the right to know what we collect and to request deletion). We honor those rights and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
